


Rashed Khan, a prominent figure in the 2018 quota reform movement, has officially resigned from his position as the General Secretary of Gono Odhikar Parishad.
In a formal resignation letter submitted today to Party President Nurul Haque Nur, Khan cited personal reasons for his departure. Reflecting on his tenure, he noted his long-standing political partnership with Nur, which predates the formation of the party. Khan expressed regret for any unintentional shortcomings during his leadership and extended his gratitude to the party leadership for their cooperation.
While stepping down from his executive role effective immediately, Khan emphasized his desire to maintain a cordial relationship with the organization moving forward. The party has yet to announce a successor or an acting General Secretary.
