PM Tarique Rahman Visits Jashore to Launch Projects

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in Jashore on Monday morning for his first official visit to the district since the formation of the new government. During the day-long tour, the Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate several development projects, lay foundation stones, and address a public rally.

The Prime Minister departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:30 am and landed at Jashore Airport at 10:15 am. He was received by State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Anindya Islam Amit, State Minister for Local Government Mir Shahe Alam, and senior administration officials.

Sharsha Upazila The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Ulshi Canal excavation project and address a local gathering.

Jashore City Following a brief stay at the Jashore Circuit House, he will lay the foundation stone for the Jashore Medical College Hospital.

Public Rally The visit will conclude with a major public address at the Jashore Central Eidgah Maidan.

This marks Tarique Rahman’s first visit to the district as Prime Minister following the 13th National Parliament election. He is expected to return to Dhaka tonight.
