Commuters using the Karnaphuli Tunnel should expect nighttime delays from June 25 to June 30 due to routine maintenance work.

The Bangladesh Bridge Authority announced on Monday that traffic will be restricted between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM over these six nights. To accommodate the maintenance, authorities will operate two-way traffic through a single tube.

Vehicles traveling between Patenga and Anwara will be diverted to the active tube as needed. Officials advise that drivers may face brief wait times of 5 to 10 minutes at both ends of the tunnel, depending on traffic volume.
