A fire broke out in a multi-stored building in Kalshi, Mirpur

A fire broke out in a multi-stored building in the capital's Mirpur area. Six firefighting units are working to control the fire. Four more fire service units are on the scene.

The fire service received reports of a fire at 10pm on Friday (October 24th).

Confirming the matter, duty officer Rakibul Hasan said, "We received the news at around 10pm tonight that a fire broke out on the sixth floor of the six-stored building at the Wedding House Community Centre in Kalshi, Mirpur. Six of our bodies are working on the scene. Four more units are on the scene.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known. He also said there were no reports of anyone injured in the fire.
