Fires erupted on two buses in Dhaka

Fires have erupted on two buses in the Shahjadpur and Merul Badda regions of Dhaka.

One bus belongs to Victor Paribahan, while the other is owned by Akash Paribahan. These events took place early on Monday morning. The causes of the fires remain undetermined, according to bdnews24.com.

Rozina Akhtar, the duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters control room, reported that the fire on the Victor Paribahan bus was noted at approximately 5:40 am in Shahjadpur, and the fire on the Akash Paribahan bus was reported around 6:15 am in Merul Badda.

Upon receiving the reports, the Fire Service responded promptly to the locations and managed to control the fires, she stated. However, the initial inspection did not confirm the cause of the fires. Rozina mentioned that there were no casualties resulting from these incidents.
