Monirul Hasan Bappi, the BNP-nominated candidate for the Khulna-6 constituency, expressed his gratitude to the local community following the 13th National Parliamentary Elections. Speaking at a series of post-election greetings exchanges on Saturday, February 14, Bappi attributed the BNP's success to the public's desire for a better future for Bangladesh.
Bappi pledged that the promises made by the party would be implemented in stages as the new government forms. He specifically thanked the voters of Paikgaccha and Koyra for their tireless support. "The way traditional voters and the general public cooperated with me is a debt I can never repay," he stated.
Addressing the local community, Bappi reassured residents of their safety and economic freedom. "I promised before the election that I would not leave you. I will keep my word. There is no need to fear; you should move forward with your businesses and lives without obstacle. I will be by your side in both happiness and sorrow," he said.
The meetings, held across various unions including Kapilmuni, Haridhali, and others, were chaired by Upazila BNP Convener Dr. Abdul Majid. Bappi emphasized his commitment to the development of the neglected coastal township, promising peace and security for all citizens, including minority communities.
The events were attended by senior district and upazila BNP leaders, alongside representatives from the Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and other affiliate organizations.
