Nasiruddin Patwari ahead in Mirza Abbas's seat

The results of 3 polling centers of Dhaka-8 constituency (Motijheel, Shahbagh, Ramna, Paltan and Shahjahanpur) have been received.

BNP candidate Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed, nominated with the paddy sheaf, received 1242 votes. National Citizen Party-NCP candidate Muhammad Nasiruddin Patwari, with the Shapla Copy symbol, received 1249 votes.

The total number of voters in this constituency is 275,471. Out of these, 152,795 are male voters and 122,675 are female voters. There is also 1 third gender voter.

The voting war began simultaneously in 42,779 centers across the country from 7:30 am on Thursday (February 12). The voting time ended at 4:30 pm. The voting period for the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum ended at 4:30 pm.

Although the voter turnout at the polling stations was low since morning, a large crowd was observed after noon. The presence of young voters was especially noticeable. Voters gave their opinions on the future reconstruction of Bangladesh. Now we wait for the results to be announced.
