Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hasan stated on Sunday that the Bangladesh Navy is fully prepared to ensure a peaceful and impartial environment for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum.

Speaking to journalists after an exchange of views with law enforcement agencies and election officials at the Bhola Deputy Commissioner's Office, the Navy Chief emphasized the military's supportive role. "We have made all necessary preparations to help the Election Commission conduct a fair and orderly vote," Admiral Hasan said.

To manage the unique challenges of remote and coastal areas, the Navy has arranged for both its own vessels and local watercraft. Additionally, the Bangladesh Air Force has positioned helicopters for emergency response, and Naval aviation units remain on high alert.

The Admiral also highlighted the vital role of the media in maintaining transparency. He expressed gratitude for the media's responsible cooperation and urged continued support during and after the polling period to ensure the process remains credible to the public.

The meeting was attended by Bhola District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shamim Rahman, District Police Superintendent Md. Shahidullah Kawsar, and senior officials from the BGB and RAB.
