Navy's Commodore Fazlar Rahman Appointed New BSC MD

The government has appointed Bangladesh Navy Commodore Fazlar Rahman as the new Managing Director (MD) of the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) on deputation.

He replaces Commodore Md. Mahmudul Malek, who has been withdrawn from the BSC. Malek will return to the Navy and his services have been reassigned to the Armed Forces Division.

The Ministry of Public Administration formally announced this leadership change in a notification issued by its Deputation-1 Branch. Signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Noor-e-Alam by order of the President, the directive takes effect immediately in the public interest.
