Bangladesh Gold Price Today: Latest BAJUS Rates

Gold is being sold across Bangladesh at the revised prices set by the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS), effective Monday, July 20.

BAJUS announced the latest price adjustment on July 14, citing a decline in the local market price of pure gold. The revised rates took effect at 10:00 a.m. that day and remain in force until further notice.

BAJUS said the prices apply nationwide, although jewelry-making charges will vary depending on the design. The association also noted that VAT is already included in the listed prices, meaning retailers cannot charge customers additional VAT. Existing rules for jewelry exchange and repurchase remain unchanged.

Earlier, on July 13, BAJUS reduced the price of 22-karat gold by Tk 2,216 per bhori, setting it at Tk 221,966.

So far in 2026, BAJUS has adjusted gold prices 91 times—raising them 44 times, reducing them 46 times, and making one VAT adjustment.

Silver Prices Remain Unchanged

Silver prices remain unchanged across all categories:

• 22K Silver: Tk 4,607 per bhori
• 21K Silver: Tk 4,374 per bhori
• 18K Silver: Tk 3,791 per bhori
• Traditional Silver: Tk 2,858 per bhori

BAJUS has adjusted silver prices 56 times this year, with 28 increases and 28 decreases.
