Spain secured victory through Ferran Torres' decisive goal in the 106th minute, but much of the online discussion afterward centered on 19-year-old winger Lamine Yamal.

Yamal became one of the youngest players in history to win the FIFA World Cup, lifting the trophy in his first appearance at the tournament.

During the medal presentation, a video filmed from one camera angle appeared to show Yamal walking past Trump without shaking his hand, prompting widespread speculation on social media.

However, footage captured from another angle shows that Trump placed the winner's medal around Yamal's neck and that the two did shake hands before the player continued speaking with FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
