


To improve essential citizen services and accelerate local development Paikgachha Municipality held a Town Coordination Committee (TLCC) meeting on Monday afternoon at the municipal Water Branch Building.
The session focused on resolving pressing urban issues that directly impact residents' daily lives. Key discussions centered on ensuring a reliable potable water supply, strengthening routine cleanliness drives and upgrading the city's drainage infrastructure to reduce public suffering.
Municipal Administrator and Upazila Executive Officer Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury led the meeting as the chief guest, with proceedings directed by Municipal Executive Officer Lalu Sardar.
Rather than a routine administrative briefing the event served as a collaborative dialogue. Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Ahsanara Binte Ahmed municipal engineers TLCC members and local civil society representatives actively participated.
Speakers at the meeting emphasized the need for collective, swift action to expedite ongoing municipal projects. By prioritizing essential infrastructure sanitation and public health, the committee aims to deliver tangible long-term improvements to the Paikgachha community.
