RAB-7 has arrested Md. Rahat Hossain Rifat, the prime suspect in the Adnanul Alam Shaon murder case. Rifat, 26, is the son of Ali Abshar from Sitakunda’s Mosjjidda area.

Acting on a tip-off, a RAB-7 team conducted a raid in the South Kattali Port Link Road area on Saturday (May 9) evening. Assistant Director (Media) ARM Mozaffar Hossain confirmed that Rifat had been absconding since the murder was reported at Pahartali Police Station.

The arrestee has been handed over to Pahartali Police for further legal proceedings.
