BMD Forecasts Rain and Gusty Wind Across Bangladesh Today

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind across different parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting 9 am today.

According to the morning bulletin, rain is likely at many places in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places in Rajshahi and Rangpur. Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may also occur in some areas nationwide.

Day and night temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged. Monday's highest temperature was recorded at 36°C in Sylhet, while today's lowest was 24.7°C in Narayanganj.

The highest rainfall in the past 24 hours, till 6 am today, was 150 millimeters in Hatiya. In Dhaka the sun will set at 6:44 pm today and rise at 5:26 am tomorrow.
