BGB Seizes 429 Bottles of Illicit Stimulant Syrup in Phulbari, Dinajpur

According to a press release issued by the Phulbari Battalion (29 BGB) on Tuesday, the drives were conducted on Monday night.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized 429 bottles of illicit sexual stimulant syrup during two separate anti-smuggling operations in Phulbari, Dinajpur.

According to a press release issued by the Phulbari Battalion (29 BGB) on Tuesday, the drives were conducted on Monday night by the Birampur Special Camp and the Khanpur Border Observation Post (BOP).

The seized locally produced syrups have an estimated market value of Tk 64,350. No arrests were made during the raids as the suspects managed to flee the scene after sensing the presence of law enforcement.

Confirming the seizures, Phulbari Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Arif-uz-Zaman, psc, reiterated the force's commitment to border security. He stated that the BGB will continue its rigorous anti-drug and anti-smuggling campaigns in the border regions with ensuring strict legal action against those involved in illicit activities.
