Worker’s Stabbed Body Recovered on Chattogram Road

Police recovered the blood-stained body of a 35-year-old worker from Sagarika Road under the Pahartali Police Station area early Friday.

The victim, identified as Saiful Islam (also known as Ismail), was found lying on the road in front of the Coast Factory around 12:30 AM.

Saiful, a native of Parshuram upazila in Feni district, had been living in a rented room in the Chicken Farm area of Pahartali.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Masudur Rahman of Pahartali Police Station confirmed the incident, stating that the victim had sustained a deep stab wound to the left side of his abdomen.

Police recovered the body and dispatched it to the hospital morgue for an autopsy. A investigation has been launched to determine the motive behind the killing and to identify those responsible.
