A protest and demonstration march was held in Sariakandi demanding justice for the murder of Sharif Osman bin Hadi.

The protest march was taken out on Friday (December 19) afternoon at the initiative of the Sariakandi revolutionary students and people. After the march, a short rally was held at the local Muktijoddha Mor. The rally was presided over by the acting president of the Youth Division Belal Hossain.

Under the direction of student leader Abdus Sobhan, student leaders Sadiqul Islam Swapan, Boni Amin, Mominur Islam Selim, Youth Division Secretary Rizuanul Haque Swapan, labor leader Anwar Hossain Biplob, Youth Division leader M.A. Qayyum, Sagar Ahmed Sohag and others spoke at the rally.

Later, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the soul of Osman Hadi. The prayer was led by the Upazila Chhatra Shibir President Asib Khan.
