CMP Transfers OC Officers at Two Police Stations in Chattogram

The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has reshuffled officer-in-charges (OCs) at two police stations. Under the same order, the OC of Khulshi Police Station has been transferred to the City Special Branch (CT-SB).

The changes were announced in an order signed by CMP Commissioner Hasan Md Shawkot Ali on Wednesday (October 7) afternoon.

According to the order, Md Nazer Hossain, inspector (investigation) at Chawkbazar Police Station, has been appointed OC of Akbar Shah Police Station.

The current OC of Akbar Shah Police Station, Md Kamruzzaman, has been transferred to Khulshi Police Station as its new OC.

Meanwhile, Md Abdur Rahim, the current OC of Khulshi Police Station, has been transferred to CT-SB.

CMP sources said Abdur Rahim was transferred about one month and 10 days after taking charge as OC of Khulshi Police Station.

During his tenure, he was the subject of discussion and criticism over various issues.
