ATM, card and other transaction services under the Q-Cash network have resumed at 30 banks after remaining disrupted for two days, according to IT Consultants PLC (ITC), the company operating the network.
In a notice issued on Tuesday night, October 6, Q-Cash said all services under its network were now operating normally. As a result, customers can resume transactions as usual.
The services had been disrupted from after 9pm on Sunday, October 4, due to system migration on the Q-Cash network. The disruption affected cards and various transaction services at around 30 banks across Bangladesh.
Customers faced interruptions to services including ATM withdrawals, point-of-sale (POS) transactions and other card-based payments.
At the time, banks had informed customers through SMS that the affected services might resume after noon on October 10.
The services have now been restored ahead of that previously communicated timeline.
