The government has issued a gazette appointing 40 more candidates to the Special Education Cadre under the 49th Special BCS.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued the gazette on Monday night, October 5.
Earlier last Thursday, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed had said at the Secretariat that a gazette would soon be issued regarding the appointment of 46 candidates who had been left out of the gazette for the Special Education Cadre under the 49th Special BCS.
Candidates had been waiting for a long time for the recruitment process for the Special Education Cadre under the 49th Special BCS to be completed.
Although appointment gazettes were issued in several phases following recommendations from the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), the exclusion of some candidates from the gazettes sparked discussion.
As part of the ongoing process, the government has now issued another gazette appointing 40 candidates.
The latest appointments mark another step forward in the recruitment process for the Special Education Cadre under the 49th Special BCS. Last week, the government issued a gazette appointing 611 candidates.
According to relevant sources, the posting of the appointed candidates will be completed after the remaining formalities and necessary verification processes are concluded.
Officials concerned said recruitment to government positions is being carried out in accordance with merit, qualifications and applicable rules and regulations.
