BNP Holds Discussion Meeting in Porsha on Tarique Rahman’s 31-Point, The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) organized a discussion meeting in Porsha upazila to highlight and implement the 31-point state reform agenda announced by BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman.

The event was held on Saturday afternoon at Nitpur Shaheed Pinku Girls High School ground, under the banner of the Porsha upazila BNP and its affiliated organizations.

Upazila BNP Vice President Alhaj Shah Jamal Chowdhury presided over the meeting, while Mahmudus Salehin, a BNP nomination aspirant for the upcoming parliamentary elections and former central executive member of the Jubo Dal, attended as the chief guest.

Former Sapaahar BNP president Principal Abdun Nur spoke as the main speaker. The meeting was conducted by Mariful Islam, BNP’s upazila relief and rehabilitation secretary.

Among the special guests were Masud Haider Tipu, convener of Naogaon District Jubo Dal; Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury Labu, general secretary of Sapaahar BNP; and Dr. Ainur Rahman, former organizing secretary of Niamatpur BNP.

Other speakers included AKM Rowshanul Islam, Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, Jewel Haque, Nejamul Haque Shah, and several local BNP and Jubo Dal leaders.

The speakers pledged to strengthen the grassroots organization and mobilize support for BNP’s reform plan aimed at “rebuilding the state structure” and restoring democracy.
