


Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Bir Bikram, the Speaker of the National Assembly, arrives in Bhola today for a three-day official visit. This marks his first visit to his constituency, Bhola-3 (Lalmohan-Tajumuddin), since being elected Speaker of the 13th Parliament.
Local party leaders and residents have expressed significant enthusiasm regarding the visit. According to the official schedule, the Speaker will travel from Dhaka by road via Barishal, arriving at the Bhola Circuit House around 3:00 pm on Thursday. Later that evening, at 5:00 pm, he will attend a reception at the Lalmohan Upazila Parishad Auditorium.
On Friday, April 17, Speaker Hafiz is scheduled to hold a coordination meeting with Lalmohan Upazila officials at 9:00 am, followed by a similar session with Tajumuddin Upazila officials at 3:00 pm.
His visit will conclude on Saturday, April 18. Before returning to the capital, he will meet with the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Superintendent of Police (SP), and the District Council Administrator at the Bhola Circuit House at 10:00 am. The Speaker is expected to depart for Dhaka by road at approximately 11:00 am.
