


A gazette has been published allocating the offices of 10 advisors appointed as ministers and state ministers in the new government of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
This gazette was published on Tuesday in a notification from the Cabinet Division. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman distributed these responsibilities in accordance with rule 3B(ii) of the Rules of Business, 1996.
According to the gazette, among the advisors with ministerial rank, Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed, Nazrul Islam Khan and Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed have been given the responsibility of ‘political advisors’.
In addition, Md. Ismail Zabiullah has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Administration and Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance and Planning.
On the other hand, among the State Minister-level advisors, Humayun Kabir has been given the charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Brigadier General (Retd.) Shamsul Islam has been given the charge of the Ministry of Defense, Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman has been given the charge of the Ministry of Policy and Strategy, Mahdi Amin has been given the charge of the Ministry of Education, Primary and Mass Education, the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment and the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
In addition, Rehan Asif Asad has been given the charge of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
