Law Minister Md. Asaduzzaman said that he will continue to work to fulfill people's expectations that are as high as mountains. He said, "We will work keeping in mind those who have given their lives for 17 years to protect democracy and establish justice. There are challenges. We will continue to work to fulfill people's expectations that are as high as mountains."

He said this while exchanging greetings with journalists on the first working day in front of the Law Ministry at the Secretariat on Wednesday (February 18) afternoon.

The Law Minister said, "Our goal is to move forward by embracing the election manifesto. Our main goal will be to move forward by embracing the spirit of all those who have given their lives in the last 16 to 17 years to establish democracy, rule of law and justice in Bangladesh, especially those who gave their lives in the July Revolution and those who gave their lives in 1971 to build the country."

In response to a question about crimes against humanity, he said, "The law will move at its own pace in the case of crimes against humanity." At the same time, if there is any misuse of the law, we will look into it.

In response to a question regarding the oath-taking in the Constitutional Reform Council, the Law Minister said, "Our party spokesperson has explained the reason why we did not take the oath and we did not take it. I do not need to explain it again here."
