The Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) of Dhaka University was targeted by cocktail explosions on Wednesday night, reportedly occurring around 9:20 pm.

The blasts injured one individual, whose identity was not immediately confirmed. Material damage was also reported, including a journalist’s motorcycle parked nearby being partially damaged. Following the explosions, an angry crowd quickly mobilized, initiating a protest procession on the campus.

This incident occurs amid a heightened security environment in the capital, where authorities have already strengthened police measures in response to recent episodes of cocktail explosions and vehicle arson.
