Ballot papers and essential polling equipment for the 13th National Parliament Election and the constitutional referendum were dispatched to nine upazilas in Pabna on Wednesday. Under stringent security, the distribution began at 11:00 AM from the respective upazila parishad headquarters.

The District Election Office confirmed that voting will take place across 702 polling stations, covering 74 unions and nine municipalities. A total of 2,293,611 voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in the district. This includes 1,144,913 men, 1,129,373 women, and 17 third-gender voters.

To ensure a peaceful voting environment, a multi-tiered security blanket has been thrown over the district. Personnel from the Army, BGB, Police, RAB, and Ansar VDP are deployed at polling centers and key strategic points to maintain law and order.
