


Pubali Bank PLC launched a "Cashless Campaign" and introduced the Bangla QR program in Kalia, Narail on Monday to encourage digital financial transactions and reduce cash usage among the public.
The Kalia sub-branch of Pubali Bank inaugurated the initiative with a public awareness rally and distributed Bangla QR codes to local merchants and business owners.
The rally started in front of the Kalia sub-branch, proceeded through key municipal roads and concluded at the branch office. Bank officials, municipal representatives, local business owners, customers and community leaders participated in the event.
Speaking at the launch, officials emphasized that digital transactions save time, enhance security and increase transparency in financial dealings. By adopting Bangla QR codes, small and medium merchants can accept payments directly from customers without handling cash.
Bank representatives highlighted that Pubali Bank offers several modern digital services, including mobile banking apps, QR codes and card services, to make everyday banking seamless.
Pubali Bank management announced plans to expand digital banking services across more branches and sub-branches. Future initiatives include establishing self-service corners and electronic banking booths to improve customer convenience in rural and semi-urban areas.
