Residents reported explosions and fires near the "Chizhov Gallery" business center though authorities have not yet fully confirmed the extent of structural damage in residential areas. Local social media users voiced frustration over the lack of advance air-raid warning sirens before the explosions occurred.

Following the incident, Russian Railways temporarily suspended train services passing through the Voronezh region.
