32 Ethnic Minority Beneficiaries Receive Replacement Goats in Porsha

The upazila administration and the Department of Livestock Services distributed replacement goats to 32 beneficiaries from ethnic minority communities in Porsha, Naogaon, on Thursday.

This livestock distribution initiative aims to improve the socio-economic conditions and overall quality of life for marginalized ethnic groups in the region. The newly distributed goats replace the initially provided livestock that unfortunately died during their mandatory quarantine period.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam presided over the distribution event. The program was also attended by Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Atiqur Rahman, Agriculture Officer Mamunur Rashid, local BNP General Secretary Sadequl Islam, and Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Abdul Aziz, alongside other departmental officials and staff.
