Aster Hospitals Opens Patient Help Center in Bheramara

A patient help center for India-based Aster Hospitals was officially opened in Bheramara, Kushtia, on Wednesday evening, July 29.

The center is located at Ananda Computer on Sono Goli in Bheramara town. It is intended to provide assistance to Bangladeshi patients seeking treatment at Aster Hospitals in India.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Pradip Sarkar, owner of Ananda Computer and a journalist. Arpan Chatterjee, regional manager for International Business–Asia at Aster Hospitals, attended the event as the chief guest.

Other attendees included Jahangir Hossain Jewel, former president of the Bheramara Press Club and head of the sports department at Bheramara Government College; S.H. Shuvo, Aster Hospitals' chief representative and program officer in Bangladesh; politician Asit Kumar Singh Roy; Arifuzzaman Lipton, former general secretary of the Bheramara Press Club; Rezaul Karim, Bheramara correspondent for Daily Jugantor; Dr. Kamrul Islam Mona, president of the Bheramara Online Press Club; and Zahid Hasan, general secretary of the Khulna Divisional Press Club.

The event was moderated by Saiful Islam, president of the Bheramara branch of the Khulna Divisional Press Club.

During the ceremony, Chatterjee outlined Aster Hospitals' branches and healthcare services across different parts of India. He also said the hospital would provide various forms of assistance to patients traveling from Bangladesh for treatment.
