


Free government rice was distributed to distressed families in Konaksar Union of Munshiganj’s Louhjang upazila on Wednesday morning as part of an ongoing humanitarian assistance program.
Advocate Abdus Salam Azad, Member of Parliament for the Munshiganj-2 constituency and BNP Joint Secretary General, attended the 10:00 am event as the chief guest. Louhjang Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Farzana Bobby Mitu presided over the proceedings.
Speaking to the attendees, Advocate Azad stated that the primary goal of the government's humanitarian aid is to stand by vulnerable citizens during critical situations and economic hardships. He strongly emphasized the need for absolute transparency and fair management with ensuring that government assistance strictly reaches genuine beneficiaries without any irregularities.
The General Relief (GR) rice allocation was carried out in a peaceful and disciplined environment. The event was closely monitored by local public representatives, government officials and community leaders to guarantee a fair distribution process.
