


A newly modernized 10-bed MI (Medical Inspection) Center and guest house were inaugurated at the Bhola District Police Lines Hospital today (July 19) at 10:00 am.
Bhola District Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Shahidullah Kawsar, PPM (Bar), inaugurated the upgraded facilities as the chief guest.
The modernized MI Center features eight beds for male police personnel and two for female personnel. It also includes separate quarantine rooms for patients with infectious diseases and an upgraded medicine store, ensuring faster and better healthcare for the district's police force.
The adjacent guest house was also renovated to provide clean and comfortable accommodation for personnel ranging from constables to inspectors, marking a significant step in developing police welfare infrastructure.
Speaking to reporters, SP Md. Shahidullah Kawsar emphasized that the well-being of police personnel is a top priority. "Improved healthcare is essential to building a healthy, functional, and professional force. We want our members to receive prompt, high-quality medical care close to their workplace," he said.
The event was attended by Additional SP Md. Ahsanuzzaman, Bhola Sadar Circle Additional SP Md. Ibrahim, Lalmohan Circle Additional SP Satyajit Kumar Ghosh, hospital medical staff, and other district police members.
