PM Unveils World Cup 2026 Commemorative Postage Stamp

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman released a commemorative postage stamp worth 10 taka today to mark the FIFA World Cup 2026.

At a ceremony held at his office in the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat this morning, the Prime Minister also unveiled a 50 taka souvenir sheet with an envelope and a 5 taka data card. A special cancellation seal was used to mark the occasion.

The event was attended by Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Fakir Mahbub Anam, Posts and Telecommunications Secretary Bilkis Jahan Rimi, Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Atiqur Rahman Rumon, and Additional Director General of the Directorate of Posts S. M. Harunor Rashid.
