A house in Gondardia village under Madhukhali Municipality has become a local attraction for its striking blue and white walls, perfectly mirroring the Argentine national flag. Complete with the team's official crest painted on both sides, this is the home of Sammi, a devoted Argentina football fan.
Sammi’s deep love for the Argentina football team and its talisman, Lionel Messi, inspired him to transform his home. Gondardia is a village of passionate sports lovers, split mostly between Argentina and Brazil supporters, but Sammi’s loyalty stands out.
His passion for football began in childhood. He first flew the Argentine flag at his home during the 2006 World Cup. For the current tournament, he decided to take his fandom a step further by painting his entire house.
"I have loved the Argentina team since childhood," Sammi said. "It is a feeling that cannot be easily expressed in words. Out of that pure love, I decorated my house in the colors of my favorite team."
The display has brought joy to fellow local supporters. "I am also an Argentina fan, and seeing Sammi’s house makes me proud," said Zubair Sheikh, a local resident. "He is a massive Messi fan. While our village has plenty of Brazil fans, Argentina supporters definitely hold the majority here."
Another local, Amatur Rahman, added, "Sammi has beautifully decorated his house because of his deep love for the team. We believe Argentina will take the trophy home this time."
