A workshop was held at the Morelganj Upazila Parishad meeting room in Bagerhat on Tuesday to raise public awareness about village courts.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Habibullah presided over the event. Additional Superintendent of Police (Morelganj Circle) Md. Abu Russell, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Atish Sarkar, and Morelganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mahmudur Rahman attended as special guests.

Government and private officials, alongside local journalists, participated in the discussion, emphasizing the importance of village courts in delivering quick and accessible justice.
