Five of a Family Found Dead with Throats Slit

In a chilling incident, five members of a family, including the wife and children of an expatriate, were found murdered in their home in Kapasia Upazila on Friday night.

The victims were identified as the wife of a Bangladeshi expatriate, their three daughters, and the expatriate's brother-in-law. The bodies were discovered Saturday morning in Rautkona village, sending shockwaves through the local community.

According to local sources, the victims were killed sometime during the night. Residents found the blood-stained bodies inside the house and immediately alerted the authorities.

Md. Shahinur Alam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kapasia Police Station, confirmed the incident. He stated that police have recovered the bodies and have begun a primary investigation at the crime scene. While the motive remains unclear, police are looking into all possible leads to identify the perpetrators.
