


The 27th founding anniversary of the country's leading national daily Jugantor was celebrated in Nalchiti, Jhalokati, with various arrangements and a festive atmosphere.
On Sunday (February 1) at 10 am, the meeting was held at the Nalchiti Press Club auditorium under the chairmanship of the convener of the Swajan Samabesh, Shamsul Alam Khan Bahar, and the chief guest was Nalchiti Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Jobair Habib.
The event was attended by special guests including Nalchiti Upazila BNP President Aad, Anichur Rahman Khan Helal, Nalchiti Police Station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Ashrab Ali, Islami Andolan Bangladesh Nalchiti Upazila Branch President Maulana Shahjalal Hossain Jihadi, Swechchhasebak Dal Nalchiti Upazila Branch President Touhidul Alam Manna, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nalchiti Upazila Branch General Secretary Moniruzzaman and leaders of various political, social and cultural organizations.
Chief guest UNO said in his speech that Daily Jugantor has been able to gain the trust of readers by presenting objective and courageous news from the beginning. I hope that this newspaper has the ability to move forward from 100 to 227 years, not just 27 years, with good reputation. He wished Jugantor continued success.
Other speakers said that Jugantor has been playing an important role in publishing news based on truth, justice and public interest for a long time. They expressed their hope that the role of the newspaper will be even stronger in the future in establishing democracy, justice and human rights. They also said that the contribution of Dainik Jugantor and its partner Jamuna TV in the 24th mass uprising will be remembered with respect by the people of the newly independent Bengal for a lifetime.
The program was hosted by Mallik Moniruzzan, a lecturer at Nalchiti Government Degree College.
