And if any mother or sister is attacked, we will not leave them alone Jamaat Ameer in Chauddagram

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "Don't accept my hegemony, we don't want to see fascism. We don't want to see a corrupt government. Where the son of a minister becomes a minister, the son of an MP becomes an MP. We want a common man, a rickshaw puller to become an MP minister. We want to see a humane Bangladesh. Where equal rights for all are ensured regardless of religion or caste.

He said, "If you vote for us, if we come to power, you will see Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher as a senior member of the cabinet. I promise this. The people of Chauddagram should think about whether they will use this opportunity for their benefit." He also said, "Despite enduring hundreds of atrocities and tortures in the past, we have not left the country." We were, we are, we will be, God willing. We were oppressed, we understand the pain of the oppressed. That is why we will never be oppressors.’ Regarding the nationwide violence against women, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, ‘And if any mother and sister is attacked, we will not leave them alone. Wherever such incidents occur, you brave youths should jump in, just as you fought against tyranny in July.’

Addressing the mothers and sisters, he said, ‘Mothers and sisters will not be afraid of any enemy. You will not be deterred by any fear. You should vote for justice. Stop the extortionists. When Jamaat comes to power, mothers and sisters will be safe.’ The Jamaat Amir said, ‘You are the mothers who gave birth to Abrar Fahad, Abu Saeed and Osman Hadid. Stop those who scare you. Tell me I will vote, I will vote for justice, if possible, stop it.'

Shafiqur Rahman said to the youth, 'I will not give unemployment allowance to any youth. We will turn the youth into craftsmen for building the country. We want to place the youth in a place of honor by creating employment.'

He said these things at an election rally organized by the Chauddagram Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami at around 12:45 pm on Saturday.

During the event organized on this occasion at the Chauddagram H. J. Pilot Model Government High School grounds, the candidate of the 11-party alliance-supported Daripalla constituency of Chauddagram constituency and Jamaat-e-Islami Central Naib-e-Amir Dr. Syed Abdullah Md.
