Sirajganj District BNP Organizing Secretary Mirza Mustafa Zaman has once again demonstrated that politics extends beyond mere speeches, meetings, or party events; the true duty of a genuine politician is to support the people in both their joys and sorrows.

He hurried to gather information about the ill leaders and activists of BNP and Chhatra Dal who were receiving treatment at Sirajganj Sadar Hospital, Mansur Ali Medical College Hospital, and North Bengal Medical College Hospital. His empathetic presence has sparked extensive discussion within the local political community.

Among those unwell were Sirajganj District BNP leader Aslam Talukder, JASAS leader Sohag Hossain, Solanga Thana BNP leader Nur Alam, Tarash Upazila Chhatra Dal joint convener Ashraful Islam Jewel, and several others. District BNP Organizing Secretary and General Secretary candidate Mirza Mustafa Zaman assessed the health of each individual, provided necessary guidance for their treatment, and assured them of various medical support. He engaged with the sick leaders and activists, as well as their families, inquiring about their care and reassuring them that the BNP family does not engage in the politics of neglect. He was joined by District Chhatra Dal Joint General Secretary Taibul Hasan, Municipal Jassas President Saiful Islam, General Secretary Shaon Ahmed, Joint General Secretary Kamruzzaman Sohag, and Municipal Swechchhasebak Dal Joint Convener Ariful Islam Arif, among others.

The distinctive aspect of Mirza Mustafa Zaman's political journey is his compassionate and unpretentious demeanor. From his days in student politics, he has been recognized as a mentor, organizer, and empathetic friend rather than a conventional leader. While overseeing the party, he has kept in touch with leaders and activists from diverse backgrounds, supporting them during challenging times. Even throughout the Corona crisis, he played a crucial role in providing food assistance, distributing medicine, and engaging in relief efforts across various locations. This ongoing commitment is evident in his visits to numerous hospitals, where he checks on the health of sick leaders and activists.

Such initiatives not only bolster local politics but also foster a favorable perception of the party among the general populace. In essence, Mirza Mustafa Zaman's humanity has become the new narrative and source of inspiration for politics in Sirajganj. He has once again demonstrated that politics transcends the pursuit of power; it is fundamentally about standing in solidarity with the people.
