Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) has held a meeting with journalists following its appointment to organise and coordinate the upcoming General, Science and Technology (GST) cluster admission tests.

The meeting was held on Saturday (September 19) at the university’s Agriculture Conference Room. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr SM Hemayet Jahan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr ABM Saiful Islam, Treasurer Professor Dr Md Atikur Rahman and Proctor Professor Abul Bashar Khan attended the meeting. Officials from various departments of the university were also present.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr SM Hemayet Jahan said the university administration was working relentlessly to take PSTU to the level of globally recognised rankings. He said the university was placing emphasis on various student clubs and foreign language learning to prepare students to compete in the global arena.

He added that the university was undertaking various initiatives to improve the quality of education also ensure overall development and enhance students’ skills.

The meeting also discussed the overall development of the university with improving the quality of education and ensuring the smooth and effective organisation of the upcoming GST cluster admission tests.
