Argentina Beat England with Late Comeback 2-1 to Reach Consecutive World Cup Final

Defending champions Argentina secured a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over England at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Wednesday to reach the World Cup final.

Trailing until the 85th minute Argentina scored twice in the dying stages to book a Sunday title clash against Spain in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The fierce rivalry match saw a raucous atmosphere from kickoff. England took a second-half lead through Anthony Gordon and looked poised to reach their first World Cup final since 1966.
