


Antonela Roccuzzo wife of Argentine football star Lionel Messi has built a life and identity well beyond her husband's fame. Born in Rosario Argentina to Patricia Blanco and José Roccuzzo grew up alongside Messi and she met through her cousin Lucas Scaglia a teammate of Messi's at Newell's Old Boys.
The couple stayed in touch after Messi left for Barcelona at age 13. Roccuzzo initially pursued dentistry at the National University of Rosario but left the program to move to Barcelona at 19, choosing to be closer to Messi. She has spoken about how difficult it was leaving her family behind calling it both painful and a turning point that pushed her to grow.
Roccuzzo and Messi married in 2017 in Rosario and now have three sons Thiago, Mateo and Ciro all of whom play football in Inter Miami's youth academy. Thiago's team recently won an Under-14 title at a tournament in Punta Cana.
Beyond motherhood, Roccuzzo has emerged as an entrepreneur and digital creator with over 41 million Instagram followers.
She co-founded the children's clothing brand Enfans with her cousin and serves as a brand ambassador for several major companies including Alo, Tiffany, Lancôme and Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Messi has often praised his wife's positivity and resilience also describing her as intelligent and capable in every aspect of life. Messi, now 39 pursues another World Cup title, Roccuzzo and their sons remain a steady presence in his corner both privately and publicly.
Away from football, Roccuzzo has shared her love for the Harry Potter series and enjoys building Lego sets with her children, a hobby that has become a cherished family tradition.
