


Bangladesh has handed over its first consignment of 240 tons of food aid to Kuwait, highlighting growing diplomatic and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
The emergency food supplies were sent in multiple flights as a goodwill gesture from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. On Sunday (May 24), the items were officially handed over in Kuwait to Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The handover was conducted by Prime Minister’s Special Envoy and Foreign Affairs Advisor Humayun Kabir, along with State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M. Rashiduzzaman Millat.
During the meeting, Humayun Kabir delivered a message of greetings from the Prime Minister and invited the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to visit Bangladesh. He reaffirmed Bangladesh’s commitment to strengthening long-standing bilateral relations and ensuring peace and stability for the people of Kuwait.
State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat emphasized expanding cooperation between Bangladesh and Kuwait, particularly in civil aviation, trade, investment, and manpower.
Kuwait’s Foreign Minister appreciated the initiative, calling it a strong example of brotherly relations and humanitarian solidarity between the two countries.
