PM Tarique Rahman Conducts Surprise Secretariat Inspection

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman conducted a surprise inspection at the Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday morning to ensure government officials and staff are maintaining punctuality and administrative discipline.

The Prime Minister arrived at the Secretariat shortly after 9:00 AM. Instead of proceeding to his office in the Cabinet Division, he immediately began a tour of various ministries to observe attendance and departmental operations firsthand.

During the visit, the Prime Minister inspected at least eight ministries across several buildings

He visited the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, followed by the ministries of Fisheries and Livestock, Water Resources, Women and Children Affairs, and Primary and Mass Education.

He inspected the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.

The tour concluded with visits to the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Following the inspections, the Prime Minister returned to the Cabinet Division to resume his scheduled agenda.

Later today, the Prime Minister is set to chair a high-level meeting regarding the Farmers' Card initiative. The session will include ministers, state ministers, and senior officials from the ministries of Local Government and Rural Development, Finance, Agriculture, and Fisheries and Livestock.
