


Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was posthumously honored with the award for the best ‘Indomitable Woman’ for her contributions to women’s education and democracy.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8, President Md. Shahabuddin received the award from Barrister Zaima Rahman, Khaleda Zia’s granddaughter.

Afroza Yasmin – ‘Women Who Made Outstanding Contributions to Social Development’
Each recipient was recognized for her exceptional achievements and unwavering spirit in her respective fields.
Organized by the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, this award system aims to promote women’s participation in social, economic, and political life. It also highlights the struggles, leadership, and contributions of women to the wider public.
