


Five people were killed and four others injured following a severe head-on collision between a passenger bus and an ambulance on the Pabna-Dhaka Highway on Thursday morning.
The fatal accident occurred around 7:30 am in the Karaitala area of Saradangi, under the jurisdiction of the Ataikula Police Station. According to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mujibur Rahman, the collision involved a bus traveling from Dhaka to Pabna and an ambulance transporting a patient and accompanying passengers from Rajshahi to Dhaka.
The impact of the crash completely crushed the ambulance. Police confirmed that all five deceased victims were traveling inside the ambulance and died instantly at the scene.
Four other individuals sustained injuries, though their current medical conditions have not yet been detailed. Authorities are currently working to identify the deceased victims.
