3 Motorcyclists Killed in Truck Crash in Dinajpur

Three motorcyclists were killed after a truck hit their motorcycle in Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur on Saturday morning.

The accident took place near Raniganj Bazar on the Dinajpur-Gobindaganj highway around 9:00am.

The deceased were identified as Al Amin, 15, son of Abdul Mosharraf from Nurpur area; Saikat, 16, son of Salimuddin from Mokhlespur area; and Qayyum, 20, son of Sahmesh Uddin from Afsarabad Colony.

According to Ghoraghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shahidul Islam, the three were travelling on the same motorcycle and entering the highway from a local road when a truck hit them.

One rider died at the scene, while the other two later died during treatment at the Ghoraghat Upazila Health Complex.

Police said further legal procedures are underway.
