A tree plantation program was held in Lakshmipur on the occasion of the 47th founding anniversary of the Jubo Dal. On Tuesday (October 28), at 11:30 am, trees were planted in Bhabaniganj Union of Sadar Upazila. More than a hundred fruit, forest and medicinal trees were planted on both sides of the Chak Bazar road from the union's Sutar Gopta.

The tree plantation program organized by Sadar Upazila East Jubo Dal was attended as a guest by District Jubo Dal General Secretary Syed Rashidul Hasan Lincoln. Among others present at the program were Sadar Upazila East Jubo Dal convener Md. Jahangir Alam, member secretary Kazi Belal Uddin, joint convener Sohel Adnan, Bhabaniganj Union Jubo Dal leader Kabir Hossain, Yusuf Ali Sajib, Shamsul Alam Ekram and others.

At this time, District Jubo Dal General Secretary Syed Rashidul Hasan Lincoln said, no development in the world is sustainable by damaging the environment. In the past, the fascist Sheikh Hasina government has cut down trees, cut down mountains, and destroyed forests in the name of development. On the one hand, it has damaged the environment and on the other hand, it has looted thousands of crores of taka. But BNP acting chairman and Jubo Dal guardian Tarique Rahman has instructed us to plant trees on the occasion of the founding anniversary.

In light of this, every unit in the district has held a joyous procession and tree plantation program. In addition, food items have also been distributed among the helpless, destitute and orphans.
