Annual Sports & Cultural Program Held at Gazipur Ocean Cadet Academy in Sreepur

The Annual Sports Competition Prize-Giving Ceremony and Cultural Program–2026 of Gazipur Ocean Cadet Academy and Moonlight English Version School was held in a festive atmosphere on Monday (February 16) at the academy premises in Sreepur.

The event was graced by the newly elected Member of Parliament from Gazipur-3 constituency, Dr. S M Rafiqul Islam Bacchu, as the chief guest. The program was presided over by Ruhul Amin Swapan, Founder of Gazipur Ocean Cadet Academy and Moonlight English Version Institution.

Addressing the gathering, MP Dr. S M Rafiqul Islam Bacchu emphasized the need for ensuring peace and security in the area. “There will be no room for terrorism, extortion, or drug abuse on the soil of Sreepur. With the support of the administration, we will take strict action against such activities. Our goal is to build Sreepur into a modern, prosperous, and peaceful community,” he said.

The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreepur Police Station was also present at the event. In his brief remarks, he stated, “We will work together to build a peaceful area, and the police administration will remain vigilant in maintaining law and order.”

The program featured prize distribution among the winners of various sports events held earlier. The cultural segment added vibrant color to the occasion, with musical performances by renowned Bangladeshi singer Liza and other invited artists, captivating the audience.

The day-long event concluded in a lively and disciplined manner, reflecting the institution’s commitment to the holistic development of its students.
