Rupali Bank Distributes Agricultural Loans to Young Farmers in Niamatpur

As part of the nationwide “Tarunyer Utsab 2025” (Festival of Youth) initiative, Rupali Bank PLC has distributed agricultural loans among young farmers in Niamatpur upazila of Naogaon to boost agricultural growth and youth entrepreneurship.

The loan distribution ceremony was held on morning at the Niamatpur Upazila Parishad auditorium, with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mosammat Murshida Khatun as the chief guest.

The event was presided over by Md. Nizam Uddin, General Manager and Divisional Head of Rupali Bank’s Rajshahi Divisional Office. Debabrata Saha, Deputy General Manager and Zonal Manager of Naogaon Zone, attended as the special guest.

Also present were Arif Hossain, Assistant General Manager, Al Mamun Sheikh, Manager of Niamatpur Branch, Shahjahan Shaju, President of Niamatpur Press Club, along with local dignitaries and young entrepreneurs.

In his speech, GM Nizam Uddin said Rupali Bank has been providing collateral-free loans to promote entrepreneurship and agricultural productivity. “Agriculture plays a vital role in ensuring food security, employment generation, and poverty reduction,” he added, noting that the initiative aims to empower young farmers across the region.
